As the Wheel of Life Turns
by Lord Bhakti

My heart goes out the most to those who have acted in violence and killed other living beings on behalf of the video mocking the Islāmic religion. The karma that will play out for them will be quite painful, much more than you could ever conceive. As long as one is ignorant to the Truth their suffering will perpetuate here and now and/or in the next re-birth.
My heart goes out to those who are suffering the loss of loved ones as a result of the violent actions on behalf of the video mocking the Islāmic religion. Thinking that one dies leads to grasping, craving, and becoming. As long as one is ignorant to the Truth their suffering will perpetuate here and now and/or in the next re-birth.
My heart goes out to the one who made the video mocking the Islāmic religion, for his karma will play out, which is the case as I write. As long as one is ignorant to the Truth their suffering will perpetuate here and now and/or in the next re-birth.
These events occur all the time and are part of the Wheel of Life. One’s karma has to play out. I have acted out of ignorance in the past and the karma initiated because of those acts played itself out over a seven-year span. Even my existence here and now is because of past karma having to play out. Realize who you really are and none of these sad events even occur and whatever that does occur vanishes as quickly as it appears. You may think, easy for me to say, but it is easy. You have choice, abide in the Truth or accept the karma that will play out.
It is because of this “Truth” that you even have a choice…
Hey Bentley,
Thanks for being the first to comment on my blog, too bad I cannot give you a million dollar prize. You are correct my friend, without this “I” that knows there is no choice or Truth, but yet this “I” is not mine or yours which is the Truth. Lol :-)
Pontius Pilate asked “What is truth”? The better question would be “Who is Truth”?
To ponder upon who or what the Truth is from an outward looking perspective can only lead to suffering. Trust me, it is not fun trying to grasp that which cannot be grasped through intellect.
So you’re saying, you can’t grasp Truth through intellect?
Any attempt to grasp That which is unchanging and timeless through intellect is impossible and maintains this consciousness. Maintaining one’s consciousness leads to suffering and re-birth. Realize that you are not this mind-body and there is nothing to grasp.
Last sentence reminds me of an old Kansas song. ….”All we are is dust in the wind”…
Remember that intellect is a great tool to reach the other shore–so is the heart. Do not denigrate that which rises out of Consciousness nor form attachment to it either. While intellect surely helps provide food, clothing, and shelter to the body mind, know that you are not this.
Once at the other side, do you keep going and carry that canoe of intellect with you? You leave it behind–leave all notions, conditioning, perceptions, and attachments. Your Spiritual mind flourishes once crossing the shore and duality dissipates–no needs arise for the provision is there before the need arises, like an answer being given seconds before the question arises; it is instantaneous living, living in the present moment; the doer ceases to be and That which is unborn, which was before the doer arose, which is the background of existence remains. That is All. Bhakti.
Your words cannot be any truer. Acceptance can be a hard pill to swallow but as each moment arises I realize there is no pill to swallow, it is what it is :-). Thanks again.
